Following a detailed assessment of your eligibility for one or more Express Entry Pathways, we will create an online account for you on the IRCC website.
We enter your basic information, such as work experience, age, language abilities and educational qualifications. This informs the IRCC that you are showing an Expression Of Interest (EOI) in applying for Permanent Residency.
IRCC will review the EOI. If you meet the conditions, you are entered into the Express Entry Pool for a maximum of 12 months. The IRCC will calculate the number of points you are eligible for based on the information provided. There is a maximum of 1200 possible points.
Approximately every 2 weeks there is a selection of applicants from the Pool and those with the highest total points will be Invited to Apply. For those who are not selected, their EOI will remain in the pool.
Once Selected, we will have a limited number of days to formally apply for Permanent Residency. This will include evidence and documentation to support the point values you are claiming.
An Immigration Officer will review the application and documents and if satisfied, will ask you to complete a medical certificate through a Panel Physician. Your character will also be checked and security screening will be completed to ensure you are admissible to Canada.
Once the Immigration Officer is satisfied that you meet the requirements, you will be able to come to Canada as a Permanent Resident and will be issued your visa.
While this all sounds very straight forward, each applicant and their individual circumstances is unique and it’s vital that you have your eligibility and points assessed by a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant at Built In. This will ensure that you will meet the eligibility requirements for the Express entry program that best meets the needs and goals of you and your family.
