This is a temporary visa which allows parents and grandparents to stay with you in Canada for up to two years per visit and can be valid for up to 10 years in length.

The applicant will need to be admissible to Canada and you, the Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident, will need to provide evidence that you can financially support them while here. Canadian Medical Insurance will also be required.
